BUCHANAN COUNTY —A St. Joseph woman was injured in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Monday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Mercury passenger vehicle driven by William M. Anei, 58, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 two miles north of Faucett.
The passenger side mirror of the vehicle struck the right arm of a pedestrian identified as Megan J. Mooney, 38, St. Joseph, who was walking southbound on the east fog line of the northbound lanes.
Mooney refused treatment at the scene. A private vehicle later took him to Mosaic Life Care. Anei was not injured and properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
