Linda J. Kendall, 83, passed away August 30th.

Linda was a compassionate and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on September 27, 1941, Linda was a devoted mother to four sons and a cherished wife to her husband.

Known for her boundless kindness and her warm, caring nature, Linda’s life was marked by her deep love for family. She found joy in baking, often filling the home with the comforting aroma of her favorite recipes. Her quilting was not just a hobby, but a way to weave love and warmth into the lives of those she cared for.  She also loved spoonbill fishing, and the simple pleasures of shopping, with her best friends.

Above all, Linda adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them, sharing her wisdom, joy, and love. Her legacy lives on in the countless memories she created, and the values of kindness, patience, and unconditional love that she instilled in everyone around her.

Linda’s passing leaves a profound void, but her memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration for her family and all who knew her.Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl E Kendall Sr and great granddaughter McKenna Marie Kendall. She is survived by her  her four sons, Carl E Kendall Jr (Pamela Kendall, wife) Donald Wayne Kendall, Mark Allan Kendall (Amanda Kendall, wife) and Danny Ray Kendall (Patty Kendall, wife), along with 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Gary M. Riegert, and her sister, Nancy Skoglund. There will be a grave side service held at 11 am on September 22, 2025 at The Leavenworth National Cemetery - 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048 

A celebration of her life will be held on September 22, 2025 - 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at The VFW - 519 Cherokee St, Leavenworth, KS 66048, where family and friends are invited to share stories and honor her memory. 

To celebrate her life, the family requests that donations be made to the - Alzheimer's Foundation of America, Parkinson’s Foundation or Colon Cancer Foundation
