Due to inclement weather in the area the Kansas City Royals have postponed their game today with the Milwaukee Brewers, and will have a doubleheader on Saturday.
Tonight’s game will be played tomorrow night at 6:10 p.m.. Tomorrow’s originally-scheduled game will be played at 1:10 p.m. Both games will be aired on KFEQ. (680AM/95.3FM). Pregame for game one of the doubleheader will be at 12:30pm. After a short break, pregame for the second game will begin at 5:30pm.
Luinder Avila is now set to start the first game for the Royals, making his first major league start. Seth Lugo (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 3K's), who was originally slated to start tomorrow's game, will start game two for Kansas City. The Brewers have not yet announced their starting pitchers. Chad Patrick was set to start today's game and Brandon Sproat was announced to start tomorrow originally.
If you had planned to attend the game, tickets for today's postponed game will be honored for the rescheduled game tomorrow at 6:10 p.m. Fireworks Friday will also happen after the conclusion of the second game.
