Dawn “Beth” Elizabeth Dotson, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
She was born June 8, 1965 in St. Joseph to Ora and Carolyn (Horr) Patterson.
Beth married Alan Leon Dotson on June 9, 1983. He preceded her in death.
Beth enjoyed playing the lottery, doing crafts, burning wood, problem solving, helping others, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jay Dotson; grandchildren, Barney “Gage” Dotson and Clayton Ziolkowski; and brother, Jim Burns.
Survivors include her children, Ali Jo Ziolkowski (RC), Steve Dotson (Lynn), and Brook Lanham (Jim); grandchildren, Stevie Dotson, Spencer Johnson, Noah Smith (Farley), Katie Dotson, Haley and Aiden Dreier, Jaycee and Philo Ziolkowski, and Payton Burchett; great-grandchildren, Daytona and Rozaleigh Dotson, and Wednesday and Salem Smith; sister, Sylvia Jeffers; significant other, Tommy Langley; best friend, Judy Cottrill; and bonus grandchildren, Zamayiah Hale, Skylar Langley, Quincy Nichols, Xavier Nichols, Benjamin Williamson, Tiffany and Raya Holmes, Taya Barnett, P.J. Lincoln, Jessee Roberton, Jacob, Cheyenne and Jaggar Yates.
