Teen, 80-year-old injured after 3-vehicle rear-end crash

BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 GMC Sierra driven by a 16-year-old boy from Agency was northbound on Route A.

The pickup rear-ended a 2017 Chevy Impala driven by Doris J. Bunton, 80, St. Joseph, who was stopped on Route A. The impact pushed the Impala into the rear of 2017 Ford Taurus driven by Darren L. Dicke, 60, St. Joseph, who was also stopped on Route A. 

Buchanan County EMS transported Bunton to Mosaic. A private vehicle transported the 16-year-old to Mosaic. Dicke was not injured. Bunton was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
