Missouri woman air-lifted to hospital after violent SUV crash

DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Lincoln MKX driven by Sylvia J. Berry, 78, Gallatin, was eastbound on U.S. 69 at 122nd Street one mile east of Winston.

The SUV traveled off the south side of the road, struck a street sign, struck the ground, went airborne, struck the ground again and overturned. Community Ambulance transported her to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was later air-lifted to Truman Medical Center. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
