Gary L. Dixon, 59, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025.
He was born July 6, 1965 in Brookfield, Missouri to Stanley and Simone (Casoli) Dixon. He grew up in the Brookfield area and graduated from Keytesville, Missouri, High School in 1984.
Gary married the love of his life Candy Wieberg on July 4, 2009. They later divorced but remained friends until she preceded him in death in March 2015.
He owned and operated Dixon Construction Company for many years, then later worked at Neighbor Construction.
Gary loved dirt track racing, especially with his son and granddaughter racing alongside him. He loved his family and friends and was very present in all of their lives.
He was a determined, strong-willed guy, but those who knew and loved him knew of his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and former wife, Candy.
Survivors include his sons, Brandon Dixon (Andreina) and Michael Arnold; grandchildren, Ava, Mya, Wyatt, and Xavier Dixon; siblings, Tony Dixon, Deanna Dixon, Marlena Manning (Bill), Shirley Dixon, and Tim Dixon (Jennifer); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends; and beloved dog, Lucky.
The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
