Leland Olen Parkhurst, 100, of Princeton, MO, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at a Princeton, MO nursing home.
He was born on April 14, 1925, in Cainsville, MO the son of Granville Virgil and Effie Francis (Seymour) Parkhurst.
On August 14, 1943, he married Marjorie Meinecke. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2024.
Leland was a graduate of Cainsville High School in 1943 and worked as a farmer.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Wayne Parkhurst; brothers, Virgil and James; and a sister, Minnie Peterson.
Leland is survived by his son, Wesley Allen (Betty) Parkhurst, Naples, FL; daughter-in-law, Marsha (Danny) Shew, Princeton, MO; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in Zoar Cemetery, Cainsville, MO.
