John Robert Lawrence, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away October 12, 2023. John was born November 11, 1950 in St. Joseph, to Robert C. and Mary A. (Harvey) Lawrence.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Missouri Western State University and served as a Civil Engineer for the City of St. Joseph. He designed a couple of the newer fire stations and the Waterpark.
Survivors include a son Mike Lawrence; daughter Kadi Lawrence; and former wife Sharon Lawrence.
He was a member of Wyatt Park Christian Church and was involved with the Coast Guard Auxillary.
