Princeton, MO: Roland Frank Pence, 68, Princeton, MO (formerly of King City, MO) passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his daughter’s home in Gower, MO.
He was born on March 14, 1955, in King City, MO the son of Carl and Gertrude (Divine) Pence.
He married Dannette Wilhelm in 2021 in Princeton, MO. She preceded him in death.
Roland was a farmer and raised Simmental and Angus cattle. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising dogs, and spending time with his family.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Roland is survived by his son, Justin Pence, Kansas City, MO; daughter, Megan (Jonathan) Redd, Gower, MO; grandson, Hudson Redd; brother, Larry Pence, Fairport, MO niece, Jessie Goble and nephew, Christopher Pence.
Roland has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Inurnment will follow in Winslow Cemetery, Dekalb County, MO.
