BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Monday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford E 250 van driven by Gordon L. Linder, 64, Lake Charles, Louisiana, was southbound in the passing lane of Interstate 29 two miles south of Faucett.
The the van traveled off the east side of the road, struck the median cable barrier and rolled. As it returned to the road, a southbound 2000 Peterbilt semi driven by Michael R. Cunningham, 28, Gardner, Kansas, struck the van.
Buchanan County EMS transported Linder to Mosaic Life Care. Cunningham was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
