BENTON COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident as the result of a health issue just before 10p.m. Monday in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Kenny L. Foster, 61, Edwards, was southbound on MO 7 just south of Route PP.
The driver suffered a medical event that caused the car to travel off the left side of the road. It struck an embankment, returned to the road, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Life Flight Eagle transported Foster to Lake Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
