ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6a.m. Thursday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Chevy Express van driven by Richard C. Stitt, 69, Lathrop, was northbound on Interstate 29 thirteen miles north of Rockport.
The driver lost control on the wet roadway. The van traveled off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail.
Atchison-Holt Ambulance transported Stitt to Fairfax Community Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
