MONTGOMERY COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Sunday in Montgomery County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Mazda 3 driven by Joshua J. Jenkins, 21, Lake St. Louis, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of Route F.
The car traveled off the left side of the road, struck a concrete median and the driver overcorrected. The car then skidded off the north side of the road and struck several trees. Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
