DAVIESS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Thursday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Town and Country driven by Rodney J. Vantellman, 61, Bethany, was northbound on Interstate 35 two miles north of New Pattonsburg.
The van began to hydroplane in heavy rain. The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road and struck trees.
NTA ambulance transported Vantellman to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
