MERCER COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are working to identify human remains found in NW Missouri.
Just after 3p.m. Tuesday, the Mercer County Sheriff's office requested the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control with the discovery of human remains.
A turkey hunter found the remains on private property in northeast Mercer County. Authorities released no additional details Tuesday evening.
