ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations after an arrest.
On Monday, police arrested 24-year-old Ethan D. Hale of Atchison in the 2000 block Main Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
He was jailed on requested charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, expired tag, no vehicle insurance, and driving in violation of restrictions.
In April of 2022, Hale was accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, DUI, reckless driving and criminal damage to property, according to online jail records. He has previous felony convictions for theft, marijuana possession, opiate possession, drug taxes and Arranging sale/purchase using communication facility, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
